Backcountry skiing is better with open space!
Join Summit Land Conservancy and Wasatch Backcountry Alliance for a ski tour up Park City Mountain as we celebrate the Full Pink Moon. April's full moon is a micromoon, meaning it will be near the point in its orbit where it is farthest from Earth. It is also known as the Paschal Moon marking the first full moon of Spring, which brings the perfect cosmic energy for a "spring cleaning" of the soul!
After we earn our turns, Summit Land Conservancy and Wasatch Backcountry Alliance will have a proper tailgate at the bottom where you can warm up with some cocoa n' cookies AND learn more about how you can get involved with two like-minded nonprofits!
Where: Park City Mountain at the Bottom of First Time Lift (1355 Lowell Ave, Park City, UT, 84060)
When: Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 at 6:00 pm
What: Come mix and mingle with two nonprofits dedicated to protecting public access and preserving the open spaces of the Wasatch Mountains. We will meet for a ski tour up Park City Mountain, then enjoy a tailgate "mixer" with cookies, cocoa, and information about how you can get involved with saving the places where we love to play.
Please bring a headlamp, layers, and your own AT equipment. Leave your furry friends at home.
