The For the Future Fund is part of the Conservancy's larger $100 million Utah Headwaters Initiative which focuses on saving critical landscapes, rivers, and tributaries within the Great Salt Lake Watershed. Over the next five years, every dollar donated to Summit Land Conservancy will contribute to the For the Future Fund and campaign. The Conservancy aims to raise approximately $20 million from individual donors leveraging those funds with landowner donations, bequests, foundations, and state and county open space dollars.

As we broaden our reach to new places, we find even more opportunities to work together for the long-term sustainability of our shared habitat. The Summit Land Conservancy will continue to make applications and manage the necessary internal controls for federal funding and national accreditation as we save more land.
