If you're more of a "Woad Warrior", join us on Tuesday, June 3rd at Miss Billies (next to Matt Knoop Memorial Park) as we pull loads of Dyer's Woad while it's in bloom! Dyer's Woad is an aggressive plant that grows quickly and forms dense stands crowding out native grasses, wildflowers, and other vegetation. When we give Woad the boot, we are helping to restore the natural balance of the local ecosystem, ensuring that native plants can thrive and support the wildlife that depends on them.

Bring: Water, snack, your favorite hat, pants, long sleeved shirt, gardening tools and your trusty weeder (if you have one!)
