Mindful Mondays
Did you know the scent of pine can decrease anxiety? Just walking through a pine forest reportedly lowers depression and stress levels giving you a greater sense of relaxation. If the daily grind is getting you down, come recalibrate with us on the trails as we "bathe" in nature.
Shinrin-yoku, which translates to “forest bathing” or “absorbing the forest atmosphere” encourages people to simply spend time in nature immersed in the sights, smells, textures, and tastes, of the natural scenery. It teaches the pleasures of presence in the wild and helps create a more defined sense of purpose and connection to this beautiful place we call home.
Join us for Mindful Mondays on our favorite open spaces. Bring a blanket to sit on and an open mind. We think you’ll really thank us!
These events are limited to 20 people and we kindly request a $10 contribution to support the resources and guidance provided during our nature bathing experience. This fee also helps us continue to offer these beneficial programs in the future.
