hops hunters HIKES & HOPPY HOUR
HOPS HUNTERS:
HIKE, FIND HOPS, harvest, DRINK, REPEAT ANNUALLY.
Summit Land Conservancy is teaming up with Offset Bier Co. this year to hunt for local hops in the Park City area! Come join the Hops Hunters as we hike along hillsides protected by Summit Land Conservancy. We will be seeking wild-growing hop bines— descendants of plants tended by German miners, discussing local history, and identifying native and invasive species along the way. We may just end up at Offset Bier to sip a post hike brew too!
Hikes will begin between 5:30-6pm and will last between 1.5 to 2 hours. Hikes vary in difficulty, see below for details. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash and friendly!
By early fall, we will harvest the hops with your help! Once harvested, we will have two limited edition, wet-hopped open space brews that will be featured at our Hoppy Hour event in early fall at Offset’s new location! Stay tuned for details about Hoppy Hour.
